Terry has been involved with motorsport since a very early age. He started out at a very young age in go karts racing at the old Albany dirt track on Bush Road. Now in to Tarmac rallies he competes in Dunlop Targa events and verious clubsport events throughout the year. Terry set up Racing for Safety back in 2001 and relised an oportunity to promote Fire Safety in rural areas during rally events. Starting with a purpose built Nissan Sentra with a 2 litre engine the car managed 3rd in class in it's first Targa event and then again taking 3rd in class in the Winger Sabaru Waitomo Rally in 2004. The team now run two Honda CRX cars one with a fully worked B18C Honda Engine and the other with a B16A.
